Hop Rhizomes are now in stock! We have a limited number of the most popular varieties available now!

Do you want to grow your own hops?  This year we are selling 6 varieties of female hop rhizomes. We expect these to arrive in mid to late March. Hop rhizomes will degrade quickly when not in the ground, so get them while you can!

We are offering volume discounts on rhizomes.  Buy 6 or more, mix and match, for $7.49 each.  Buy 12 or more, mix and match, for $6.99 each.  Our shopping cart is not able to show the discounts if you order online.  Our point of sale will discount them when we charge them to your credit card.

*NEW* Comet Hop Rhizome (rootstock) Alpha range 8% to 10.5%

$7.99

Selected in 1961 and released in 1974 by the USDA, Comet was originally utilized for its high alpha acid content and adapability to growing conditions in the Yakima Valley. Commercial production ceased in the early 1980s in favor of newer super-alpha hops, however, Comet has made a recent comeback, finding favor with some brewers in dual purpose applications for its subtle and unique, "wild American" aroma.

Aroma: Specific aroma descriptors include subtle, "wild American," grassy and grapefruit.
